This project started with a very open brief from our client.
She wanted something modern but was not sure exactly what.
Her brief asked for a home with multiple outdoor spaces, an open indoor outdoor flow.
Textural changes to the exterior including cladding type give the house a sculptural feel.
A special luxurious feel to the master bedroom and spacious ensuite.
We created a new home with lots of stimulating exterior features.
Took into account privacy as one of the outdoor courtyards and orientation of the master bedroom and living areas was onto the road, aerofoil blades were used to create a sense of privacy and mystery to the master bedroom deck on the first floor.
A second outdoor court was also incorporated to maximise the outdoor sun.
A pull apart corner of over-wall sliders was created in the living area to give good flow blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors.
Louvered roofs were used to create shade and privacy as well as for aesthetic appearance.
Gloss finished polished concrete floors, floating metal and wood stair and bringing the outside cedar cladding into the entry gives the house a warm high class feel.
